Brand & Public Relations Manager

Job Description

1. Contribute to the development of go-to-market plans, creating strategies and tactics for how to communicate key messaging and generate press attention across marketing beats
2. Identify and successfully pitch campaigns and initiatives to media, local, national, and online publications; as well as respond to media requests for information and interviews 
3. Create and edit press releases, talking points, and FAQs, etc. 
4. Develop and maintain close working relationships with members of the press (broadcast, radio, print, online, blogs, trades, etc.) 
5. Organize promotional events, press conferences, tours, and visits 
6. Manage large-scale, high-visibility projects and possess excellent time management and organization skills, with a reputation for flawless execution and management 
7. Develop and report on KPIs and other success measures, reporting on press coverage and feeding into the media mix model 
8. Liaise with marketing, and digital/social teams, maintaining the flow of information across the various teams. 
9. Manage relationships with outside public relations agencies and consultants 

Requirements:

1. Blockchain/Crypto experience preferred
2. Up-to-date on latest industry trends
3. able to articulate trends and potential clearlyand confidently 
4. Established relationships with key media as well as the ability to build and maintain connections with key journalists and social media influencers
5. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines with budgetary constraints and changing priorities (must be extremely flexible and versatile)
6. Must be able to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
