Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

• BA / BS degree in business management or other related field; MBA degree is an advantage;
• Previous experience mobile app or blockchain industries;
• Proven experience effectively navigating Jira (team workflows) and SCRUM,
• Organisational skills
• Experience in managerial level of consulting at a technology company;
• Basic understanding of app development processes and release cycles;
• Solid organisational skills and leadership experience, including engineering and product leaders;
• Exceptional experience navigating stakeholders, e.g. investors, board, commercial partners;
• High levels of compliance and business ethics;
• Native level of English.

YOUR DAILY TASKS AND CHALLENGES:

• Lead day-to-day development of our mobile native app;
• Communicate with development and design team, be a bridge between them;
• Perform daily standups with development team;
• Organise and execute weekly standups with stakeholders;
• Making sure that QA is properly planned and executed;
• Communicating issues in the processes and development to stakeholders;
• Provide management to staff and leadership to the organisation that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision;
• Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organisation;
• Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CEO and other key executive team members;
• Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes;
• Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company;
• Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes;
• Work closely with the senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company;
• Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members;
• Work with the CEO in the capital raise process, participate in the company’s road shows;
• Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
