Commercial Counsel - MENA

Responsibilties

• Draft, review, and negotiate digital asset loan agreements, including with traditional financial institutions and other digital asset organisations
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts in the general digital asset space, including anything from fiat ramps to marketing agreements
• Support day-to-day commercial contracting, including service agreements and customer/supply side documents
• Work closely and in harmony with product, operations, admin and risk teams to enable existing and new business initiatives across MENA and globally
• Monitor, interpret and provide updates on developments in the digital asset space in MENA
• Help uplift and train our junior lawyers

Requirements

• 3-6 years PQE, with direct experience in loan/finance transactions gained from a global law firm or well-regarded in-house organisation
• Strong understanding and experience with drafting and analysing commercial contracts
• Familiarity with MENA legal frameworks, particularly in UAE and Bahrain
