About Sesame

Sesame is a prediction market for current culture. Our mobile app (currently in beta) allows users to stake funds into bonding curves associated with athletes, brands, influencers, tv shows, etc. There’s also social features to enable connection through shared interests and fandom.

We’re a 6 person remote team, founded by a serial entrepreneur. Building up to a full launch in the next couple of weeks.

Looking for someone to take ownership of our social channels and PR during the launch period. 

This is a unique opportunity for someone, in terms of financial, long-term job and a project on their CV. 

Applicants are able to do the role alongside a full-time job or studying.

About the role

  • This is a remote role with flexible hours (5-10 hours a week)
  • 6 month initial contract, with potential for extension or full-time after that. 
  • $500 USDC per month 
  • $10k USDC bonus for if we reach $1m trading fees in the first 6 months
  • Open to candidates around the world. No previous experience needed. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Run our social channels: Instagram, X (Twitter) and TikTok
  • Content creation (image & video)
  • Community communication (being able to handle trolling situations calmly) 
  • Inbound PR requests and management
  • Track and analyse social media and content performance metrics

What we are looking for

  • Self motivated to set priorities and methodically make progress towards the goals
  • Gets sh*t done (don’t want someone spending hours trying to perfect an image or tweet)
  • Able to use tools (Canva, Mojo, etc) and resourceful with people on fiverr for creating things
  • The ability to communicate effectively and convey your ideas when discussing with team members

Requirements

  • Strong command of English (writing and communication)
  • Experience with AI tools for content creation
  • Understanding of crypto Twitter culture
  • Experience of growing a social media community
  • Understanding of what makes content go viral in crypto
