Job Description:
Arkeo is a decentralized, Cosmos-based blockchain designed to provide secure, scalable, and efficient multi-chain protocol (MCP) solutions. By enabling seamless interoperability through IBC and empowering developers to build innovative blockchain applications, Arkeo supports a robust, secure ecosystem for blockchain technology advancement.
We are looking for a skilled Cosmos Blockchain Engineer to help us maintain, develop, and scale the Arkeo blockchain. You will be responsible for ensuring stability, implementing new features, improving performance, maintaining IBC integrations, MCP implementation, and proactively identifying and fixing bugs through thorough unit testing and code reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop blockchain protocol built on Cosmos SDK.
- Ensure smooth Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) integrations and updates.
- Implement MCP (Multi-chain Protocol) features and improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Conduct rigorous unit and integration testing.
- Deploy and monitor blockchain updates.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to optimize blockchain performance and scalability.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve blockchain-related issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience developing and maintaining Cosmos SDK-based blockchains.
- Experience with IBC and cross-chain protocol integrations.
- Experience with MCP implementations and chain improvements.
- Strong skills in Golang.
- Familiarity with blockchain node operation, debugging, and deployment.
- Proficiency in writing clear, maintainable code with comprehensive tests.
- Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography fundamentals, and distributed systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in remote and asynchronous environments.
Compensation:
- Paid in ARKEO tokens (Depending on experience).
