We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our small and dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a experience across the web2 stack coupled with a good understanding of blockchain ecosystems and some experience with setup or management of nodes. You will be responsible for shipping end-to-end features, enhancing platform performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation.
Skills and base requirements
- Professional understanding of Next.js, Python, Django (Svelte is a plus)
- Should have built and deployed web products in the above tech
- Technical understanding of blockchain ecosystem
- Must have setup and maintained a full node for Bitcoin or similar crypto
- Comfortable working in a large codebase
- Maintaining and upgrading repos with over 3k files
- Good written/verbal communication skills in English

- Ship end-to-end features from conceptualization to production deployment followed by a changelog summary.

What’s it like working at LocalCoinSwap?
We are a fully remote team working on our crypto trading and wallet products for over 6 years. A bunch of self-driven people with expertise in one area but don’t shy away from dabbling into unknowns. At the current stage, we are looking to build out more internal + user-facing features, add more stability to the systems, and accelerate growth.
Our backend is primarily powered by Python and Django. The frontend is written in Next.js and Tailwind.css. We believe in automation on the dev-ops side.
