Full-Stack Web3 Developer

Payplug Web3 Pay is a new initiative by Payplug, France’s leading online payment provider. Our goal is to enable e-commerce merchants to accept both cryptocurrency and traditional card payments (Visa, Mastercard) through a seamless, secure and intelligent checkout experience.

We are hiring a full-stack developer to help us build the core of the product: an API and modules for Shopify/WooCommerce that handle wallet integrations, crypto/fiat conversion, and secure payment validation. A built-in AI layer will optimize payment method selection to maximize conversions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend infrastructure (Node.js, NestJS, Rust or Go for microservices)
• Integrate wallets (Metamask, Phantom) and blockchain interactions (Ethereum, Solana)
• Build a modern frontend dashboard using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
• Ensure payment security and compliance (3D Secure, KYC, anti-fraud logic)
• Collaborate with the product team on architecture and rollout

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in full-stack or backend development
• Experience with smart contracts and wallet integrations
• Familiar with e-commerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce
• Good understanding of payment flows (fiat/crypto)
• Fluent in English; French is a bonus but not required

This is a remote freelance opportunity with flexible hours. Duration: 3 to 6 months, starting ASAP.
