Head of Growth- Business Development

RockTree Capital is an early stage crypto-native fund and merchant bank. Our portfolio companies experience geometric scale in East and West markets through our RockTree Acceleration Program by combining our ultra-localized go-to market strategies and grassroots long-term community building. RockTree portfolio companies get to leverage our deep regional relationships with leading crypto exchanges, our extensive network of institutional capital collaborators, and other Web3 partners, as well as implementing a hyper-effective growth marketing approach to rapidly scale retail, developer, and other community supporters.

We are looking to hire a Head of Growth- Business Development, for one of our portfolio companies in the Bitcoin Ecosystem.

As a Business Development (BD) Manager/ Head of Growth, you will be responsible for driving growth initiatives, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding one of our portfolio companies market reach across the North America / Western markets. Your role will involve representing the business at relationship building opportunities and events, identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with Venture Capital Investors and Hedge Funds. You will also help foster relationships with key KOLs, media, developers, and community influencers to promote our portfolio company.

Key Responsibilities:

● Representing the company in the Western markets

● Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, VCs, partners, and KOL’s

within the Web3 industry.

● Identifying and pursuing new opportunities to drive market expansion.

● Collaborating closely with our CEO/Founders, development teams, product, and

marketing to align business objectives and strategies.

● Leveraging your technical knowledge of crypto technology, particularly within the Bitcoin

ecosystem, to effectively communicate our value proposition and offerings.

● Developing and implementing strategic plans to meet and exceed targets.

● Providing exceptional support and guidance to partners throughout the BD cycle,

ensuring a seamless experience and fostering long-term partnerships.

● Staying current with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to

inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

● Be self directed, results oriented with a growth mindset

Qualifications:

● 3+ years of proven experience in Business Development within the Crypto industry.

● Familiarity with KOLs, VC’s, media channels, and community engagement strategies.

Existing network is a strong asset.

● Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

● Proficiency in crypto native applications, Microsoft and Google Suite Applications.

● Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Willingness to travel for meetings and events.

● English speaking role. Ability to speak Chinese is a plus.
