About Starknet Liquidity Hub

We are building the leading decentralized exchange for long-tail assets on Starknet. We enable Starknet teams to bootstrap liquidity pools in a simple and sustainable way through a secure and reliable platform. Incubated by Hito Studios, the startup accelerator by Argent, the biggest smart wallet on Ethereum, we are ideally positioned to push the boundaries of the Starknet ecosystem.

As Founding Cairo Engineer, you will get to:

• Design and develop a Cairo-based decentralised exchange (DEX) from the ground up, coupled with governance and incentives modules
• Work closely with the leadership team to build a brand new AMM on Starknet
• Adhere to best practices in the web3 space throughout the design and implementation processes
• Work with third parties to complete thorough security Audits to guarantee the safety of the solution for end-users
• Coordinate with front-end engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of a top-tier product

Your experience should include:

• Writing of defi smart contracts
• Coordination of engineers to meet deadlines and deliver quality products
• Deep interest in the Starknet ecosystem
• 3+ years experience as a software engineer (ideally, C++, Python or Rust / Cairo)

You might also have:

• Passion for the DeFi and Web3 fields
• Knowledge and experience of test-driven development
• Deep familiarity with the common Smart Contract vulnerabilities
• A deep understanding of the architecture of modern Web3 applications and backends
• English language fluency

Please also note:

• This is a remote-only position
• The candidate should preferably be based in Europe for timezone coordination
• Cairo mentoring and peer review will be possible with help of Hito studios.
