Position: KYC / Legal Officer
Location: Remote (or Sweden)
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
As a KYC / Legal Officer at Dokdo UAB, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and legal adherence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing and implementing Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and compliance measures.
- Collaborating with legal offices to ensure all business practices and operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to provide guidance on various business activities.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Keeping abreast of changes in legislation and industry regulations that may impact the company.
- Liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a KYC Officer or in a legal compliance role.
- General knowledge of Blockchain and Electronic banking.
- In-depth knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
- Knowledge of Lithuanian and International law.
- Familiarity with legal requirements and regulations in the relevant industry.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Remote Work:
Dokdo UAB supports a remote work culture. Team members are located globally, and daily meetings are conducted using Google Meet. Communication, collaboration, and workflow management are facilitated through Google Workspace, Trello, and Telegram to keep the team aligned.
