Lead Game Designer

Lead Game DesignerLocation: Tokyo, Japan (Onsite) About us:In this position, you will be responsible for creating and managing game design documents (GDD). You will also collaborate with international teams to determine the overall direction of game design. Working closely with the team, you will plan and schedule projects, leading the design process from concept to completion. Additionally, you will design and optimize elements such as gameplay, user experience, and level design, and implement improvements based on game feedback and test results. Proposing innovative game designs using the latest technologies and trends is also a key part of your role. About the Role:Limit Break is looking for a Level Designer with a strong technical experience in 3D environments, animations and cinematics, to design and innovate compelling visual narratives for our mobile games.  As a Lead Level Designer, you will directly participate in product leadership, innovate new compelling game experiences, and iterate our live game content and events with a data driven design approach using real time customer metrics.Level designer responsibilities include designing and creating compelling visual narratives, engaging mini games, and live events inside the Unity engine, including block mesh level creation, level scripting, and in-engine 3D cinematics for the story and performance scripting.  These responsibilities require a high degree of knowledge and experience using commercial game engines, editors, and level scripting tools.  You will get to innovate and shape new gaming experiences from concept to hands-on implementation.  Responsibilities:●     Create and manage game design documents (GDD).●     Collaborate with international teams to determine the overall direction of game design.●     Plan and schedule projects, leading the design process from concept to completion.●     Design and optimize gameplay, user experience, and level design elements.●     Implement improvements based on game feedback and test results.●     Propose innovative game designs using the latest technologies and trends.Qualifications:●      Proficient in English communication and documentation.●      Practical experience as a game designer or planner.●      Experience in creating game specifications and balancing game mechanics. Nice to Have: What an ideal candidate looks like:●      Experience as a lead game designer or planner.●      Experience in developing and managing smartphone applications.●      Development experience with game engines (such as Unity).●      Ability to objectively analyze games and articulate findings clearly.●      Values teamwork.●      Passionate and proactive in their work.●      Capable of logical thinking.Apply now if vou are confident, driven and are looking for an exciting role, this job could be a great opportunity for you.
