Macro Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and regularly update analytical frameworks to assess the crypto market and establish economic relationships between the macroeconomic landscape and the crypto market.
• Evaluate the state of the crypto market within the context of broader macroeconomic trends to form comprehensive market and thematic views.
• Analyze and interpret high-frequency economic data releases to inform market insights.
• Manage, structure, and interpret financial and crypto data to perform in-depth analysis on market, economic, and technology trends.
• Produce insightful reports and sector notes tailored for a diverse global audience, including professionals in the financial and crypto industries, policymakers, and retail users.
• Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify market opportunities and gaps.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in macroeconomics analysis, financial markets, crypto research, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, and Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A strong understanding and genuine interest in macroeconomics, monetary policies, and their impact on the crypto market.
• In-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry, with a passion for staying informed about the latest market trends and opportunities, both off-chain and on-chain.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations, and the capability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced work environments.
• CFA designation is a plus.
