Mandarin Content Writer (简体中文) - Job Description

Sino Global Capital (SGC) is an emerging markets focused venture capital firm specializing in digital assets and the Web3 space. As rising markets specialists, SGC is looking for a Mandarin journalist/content writer who is passionate about telling compelling and authentic stories about blockchain and Web3 technologies in Asia and globally. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for writing and an innovative ability to create successful marketing campaigns and aid in creating company growth. You will be responsible for generating exciting and compelling stories on  digital  sources of media.

Mandarin Content Writer Responsibilities:

• Translate English to Mandarin content
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
• Create and conceptualize impactful copy for a variety of channels.
• Building and refining existing content and content strategies to keep up with an ever-changing blockchain landscape.
• Project management and consistent communication with stakeholders, teammates regarding timelines, and milestones.
• Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive Mandarin copy concepts.
• Develop and write a wide range of marketing copy, including creative copy and video scripts, headlines and content for paid and organic social media content, and copy for other owned communication channels.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings to create a forward looking content calendar.
• Staying up-to-date on industry events and trends through continuous research and strong analytical skills.

 Mandarin Content Writer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, business, or related fields.
• Minimum 2-3 years professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work in both Hindi and English. 
• Exceptional writing and research skills as well as strong intrapersonal skills.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the crypto industry.
• Eager to work with new financial technology (ie. crypto currency and blockchain).
• Comfortable with social media content and platforms.
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
• Quick learner, able to take ownership of your work.
• Ability to break down complex concepts and terminology to explain them in a way that is easy to understand.
• Fluent Mandarin skills are a must.
• Familiarity with SEO.
• Strong research skills.
