We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented/ junior Paralegal to join the Legal Special Operations team within our Legal Department. You will be actively involved in the intellectually rigorous KYB processes our company navigates, ensuring smooth and efficient interactions with providers and clients. You'll also support our in-house counsel in optimizing legal department workflows and improving overall efficiency. More broadly, you'll ensure seamless processes with providers, internal teams, and external clients.

Role and responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding of Group’s corporate entities, ensuring proper documentation and governance compliance.
- Support operational tasks across EMEA, APAC, and NAM, ensuring smooth collaboration with our internal stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth research on corporate law, international business law, regulatory requirements applicable to each entity within the Group. .
- Work with internal teams to provide legal support on international business matters including research, document preparation and coordination of stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company.
- Assist in the management and organization of legal files and documentation to ensure proper records are kept.
- Draft, review and update of the Group’s SOPs.
- Management of the legal department tools.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to international transactions.
Background and experience
- Bachelor's degree in law or legal assistant certificate/diploma.
- 0-2 years of experience in paralegal or legal assistant, or operations roles, ideally within a financial or international organization.
- Prior experience in financial institutions and KYC processes is an asset.
Skills and personality
- A strong interest in international business and the crypto sector.
- Intellectual curiosity and creative thinker.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
- A detail-oriented, proactive and resourceful mindset.
- Professional proficiency in English and French.
- Legal background or compliance experience is a plus but not mandatory.
