You’ll be joining a growing team that currently includes 70+ people overall. This role is based in Berlin (🇩🇪). Most of our team is based in Berlin, Germany, but we also have awesome teammates in Switzerland 🇨🇭, Spain 🇪🇸, Portugal 🇵🇹, UK 🇬🇧, and other countries.

💻 About the role:

As a People Business Partner (Operations), you will be responsible for partnering closely with our leaders and team members to create a healthy working atmosphere and own operational processes.

🗃️ What you will be doing: 

• Partner with leaders to master people-related challenges in a growing, multi-location/hybrid web3 Project. 

• Collaborate with department leaders to identify their HR-related needs in order to find solutions that are in line with our Safe values and feed into achieving Safe’s strategic goal. 

• Create and implement various HR initiatives designed to achieve our department OKRs and ensure HR programs are executed in the entire Safe project

• Measure and assess the impact of your work and showcase highlights and lowlights in order to foster joined learnings within the people & talent team

• Ensure sure operational HR processes (contract management, payroll execution, employee requests,..) are running smoothly and according to latest regulations to create a great employee experiences

• Be the owner of our HRIS and reporting to ensure the underlying data for decision making processes are accurate

🎒 What you will bring: 

• 4+ years of professional work experience in an operational HR manager role and a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a HR business partner role within a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.

• Deep understanding of operational HR processes, including knowledge of Labor, Social Security, and Tax Law in Germany (other EU countries are a plus)

• Distinctive attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, native level German is required

➕ Nice to have: 

• Social security and employment law knowledge of Spain and Portugal

• Experience in working with EOR providers

• Certificates in (agile) coaching, workshop facilitation or mediation
