Product Design Intern
We are looking for a Product Design intern who will work closely with the product development teams to understand the needs of our users, and will have the chance to translate the user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
Roles and Responsibilities
Employ both qualitative and quantitative research methodology to gather feedback on users’ needs, attitudes, pain points, and behaviours.
Evaluate the software’s usability, ease of navigation, and overall satisfaction of the users to ensure that it delivers a smooth and intuitive experience, meeting the user’s needs and achieving the intended goals effectively.
Examine the visual design, consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility of the software’s user interface to ensure that the UI elements are visually appealing, functional, and provide a seamless interaction experience for the end user.
Conceptualize, create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate interactive ideas.
Present and defend design decisions, ensuring it is in-line with the overall roadmap as well as your personal design thinking and fundamentals (i.e. colour theory, visual weight, etc).
Requirements
Able to commit to a full-time internship
Working proficiency in FigmaÂ
A solid grasp of user-centric design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
Solid understanding of layouts and UI/UX design systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hold a strong existing portfolio and confident of explaining design concepts and ideation during the interview.
Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-team setting
Strong problem-solving skills and high adaptability
