Regulatory Attorney (US-remote)

Location: Remote

The Regulatory Attorney will take part in guiding the various business units through the complex regulatory landscape applicable to crypto generally, and to the company’s various line of business specifically. They will help crate, maintain and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, work on obtaining, maintaining and complying with needed regulatory authorizations and licenses (on the state, federal and international levels), and take on any additional challenge as needed to ensure the company remain compliant.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory research related to crypto and the company’s business activities.
• Guide business units on regulations applicable to their particular activities, and address inquiries from business units.
• Partner with business stakeholders to develop processes to ensure that new and existing products comply with policies and applicable laws and regulations.

• Assist other members of the regulatory team as needed to help resolve complex licensing issues

Requirements

• Relevant financial regulation experience.
• Have strong organization skills, the ability to learn quickly, and accuracy/timeliness in completing tasks.
• Able to work as part of a team, as well as independently
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Must be able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced, changing, dynamic work environment with changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree or higher is required
• Knowledge and previous experience in the field of crypto (3+ years preferably)
