Senior Finance Officer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives
• Develop and evaluate pricing strategies
• Translate complex financial data into compelling narratives
• Conduct in-depth financial data analysis to support decision-making
• Daily monitoring Fiat and Crypto Reconciliations to ensure no discrepancies and to ensure smooth business operations
• Perform monthly Fiat and Crypto Reconciliations reports for regulators
• Prepare monthly reporting on closing client balances
• Support CBB and External auditors with related queries on clients assets Reconciliations and Segregations
• Ensure that unresolved differences, shortfalls and excess balances are investigated and corrective action is taken
• Monitoring of tracker for aged transactions for all reconciliations
• Monitor settlements received from payment service providers and prepare aging analysis
• Supervision of client money accounts and fund movement
• Monitor and streamline payment settlement process for Fiat and Crypto
• Supervision of revenue earned and client funds segregations for Fiat and Crypto
• Prepare monthly client money cash flow statements to ensure smooth operational flow
• ROI’s calculation for marketing initiatives
• Perform and monitor client money liquidity management on a weekly basis
• Perform liquidity analysis to support the Director of Finance and other relevant departments
• Support the Risk Management department and ensure mitigation and control of liquidity and market risk
• Provide financial and analytical support to the Director of Finance and the Finance Team
• Forecast cash flow positions of client money accounts, any related liquidity needs

Requirements

• Degree qualified in commerce, business or accounting 
• Financial leadership qualities backed up by exceptional analytical and numerical skills
• 5+ years work experience in the financial sector and/or audit  firm
• A thorough understanding of financial governance practices
• Experience in managing / leading work teams
• Self-motivated, energetic and flexible with a high degree of initiative
• Flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a team and independently
