DMD Solutions is proud to be partnering with Foundations United in the search for a Senior Front End Developer. Foundations United is building a connected ecosystem of DAOs and blockchain-native products that redefine how communities collaborate, govern, and create.
As the Senior Front End Developer, you will play a key role in shaping seamless, performant, and visually engaging experiences across this ecosystem of decentralized applications. You’ll work closely with designers, product owners, and blockchain engineers to bring complex Web3 concepts to life in ways that are accessible, intuitive, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of responsive, performant, and accessible front-end applications for decentralized platforms.
- Collaborate with blockchain engineers to integrate smart contracts, APIs, and back-end services into user-facing features.
- Build reusable, modular, and scalable components with modern front-end frameworks.
- Optimize dApp performance across multiple devices, browsers, and wallet integrations.
- Ensure smooth integration with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, wagmi, viem, web3.js, etc.) and multiple wallet providers.
- Translate Figma/UX designs into production-ready, pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Drive code quality through reviews, testing, and mentoring junior developers.
- Stay up to date on front-end and blockchain best practices, pushing innovation within the team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience in front-end engineering, with 2+ years in Web3 or blockchain projects.
- Advanced proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
- Deep experience with Web3 integrations (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, hardware wallets).
- Strong knowledge of ethers.js, wagmi, or viem for interacting with smart contracts.
- Familiarity with smart contract ABIs and EVM-based contract interactions.
- Expertise in performance optimization, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright), and best practices for secure front-end development.
- Experience working in async-first, globally distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex blockchain logic into simple user experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to multi-chain environments (Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, zk-rollups).
- Experience with design systems (Storybook, Chakra UI, Material UI, Tailwind CSS).
- Knowledge of backend APIs and GraphQL for decentralized systems.
- Familiarity with DAO governance platforms, token-gated experiences, or decentralized identity (DID).
- Open-source contributions to Web3 projects or dApps.
