Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• As a member of the Platform Engineering team, you will develop and enhance testing environments and infrastructure for Obol products.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for testing Charon, the DV Launchpad, Obol Splits smart contracts, and the Obol API & SDK.
• Take ownership of Obol products' quality across the board and the quality assurance processes, tools, and protocols to safeguard the integrity of product releases.
• Conduct performance testing on Charon clusters and report findings to key leaders and stakeholders, aiding in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA automation for distributed systems, preferably within the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• Strong unix shell understanding, and the ability to write scripts in bash, Go or alternatives. 
• Strong technical proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience in building and scaling test automation frameworks and performing complex system integrations.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide actionable feedback and engage effectively with technical teams and leadership.
• Ability to work with high-agency, using it to be maximally impactful with your work without strict direction.
• A passion for Ethereum and public, permissionless, blockchains.
• Timezone between UTC-2 to UTC+3.
