Technical Project Manager

What You’ll Do

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical development and enhancements of the CSGOEmpire.com platform. Working remotely, you will collaborate with our team of skilled developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cutting-edge features and improvements. 

Your primary focus will be on managing the software development lifecycle, from conception through to deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards.

As a Remote Technical Project Manager, you will:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex software development projects in a remote environment, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
• Coordinate with product managers, software engineers, and designers to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate the Agile development process, organizing sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to adapt to changing requirements and foster continuous improvement.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project-related communications, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project progress and outcomes.
• Integrate key performance indicators and objectives into project planning and execution to ensure alignment with strategic goals and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and technology partners, overseeing contractual commitments and ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Proactively identify and address potential project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress updates, and final outcomes, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a remote setting, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management, with a strong background in software development projects, preferably in the gaming, esports, or online gambling industries.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver technical projects in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with the esports ecosystem, particularly CS:GO and its community, is highly desirable.
• Proficient in modern software development technologies and frameworks, with an understanding of the unique challenges of developing for online gaming platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a creative approach to overcoming obstacles and challenges.
• Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum practices.
