Web 3 Business Delivery Director 

Role Overview:

As the Web 3 Business Delivery Director at Vanar, you will be entrusted with the highest level of strategic oversight and leadership in driving the successful implementation of cutting-edge blockchain and decentralized applications. Your role extends beyond project management to encompass broader strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership in the Web 3 space.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision and Leadership:

• Develop and articulate a compelling vision and roadmap for Vanar's Web 3 initiatives, aligning them with the company's long-term strategic objectives.
• Lead high-level discussions with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive consensus on strategic priorities and resource allocation.
• Champion innovation and drive the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices to maintain Vanar's position as a leader in the Web 3 ecosystem.

Executive Oversight and Governance:

• Provide executive oversight and governance for all Web 3 projects, ensuring alignment with Vanar's corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on key strategic decisions related to Web 3 initiatives.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders to stay ahead of regulatory developments and shape industry standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Partnerships:

• Foster strategic partnerships and alliances with leading blockchain companies, technology providers, and industry consortia to drive innovation and expand Vanar's ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and sales, to integrate Web 3 solutions seamlessly into Vanar's product offerings and go-to-market strategy.
• Act as a liaison between Vanar and external partners, representing the company's interests and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements and partnerships.

Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement:

• Establish Vanar as a thought leader in the Web 3 space through participation in industry conferences, speaking engagements, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Publish whitepapers, blog posts, and other thought leadership content to share Vanar's insights and perspectives on emerging trends and technologies in the Web 3 ecosystem.
• Engage with industry influencers, analysts, and media outlets to raise awareness of Vanar's Web 3 initiatives and position the company as a leader in the space.

Qualifications:

• Extensive executive leadership experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Deep expertise in blockchain technology, including advanced knowledge of cryptography, distributed systems, and decentralized applications.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to blockchain and cryptocurrency, with experience navigating regulatory challenges and managing regulatory risk.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field, with a strong academic record and demonstrated thought leadership in the Web 3 space through publications, presentations, or other professional contributions.

Location : Dubai - UAE (Candidates outside UAE will need to relocate to Dubai) 

Language : Fluent in English speaking and communication + Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi fluency as second language are preferred

Relocation package applies 

Annual salary : 149,800 USD
