Web3 Accountant (with CPA license)

The role:

As a Web3 Accountant you will be in charge of ensuring proper accounting for our clients. You must have experience in web3 as you will be dealing solely with Web3 companies! Client can go from a simple wallet, do multi-sign and potentially be on multiple chains at the same time.

The Responsibilities:

1. Maintains full set of accounts for our clients
2. Manages all financial and accounting transactions
3. Prepares timely monthly and annual closing
4. Manages balance sheets and profit/loss statements
5. Reconciles accounts payable and receivable
6. Maintains ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks
7. Maintains financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
8. Keeps books and systems up to date
9. Stay updated on statutory requirements/ legislations
10. Perform other accounting duties as required
11. Prepare financials statements (P&L and Balance Sheet) for annual submission.

The Requirements:

1. MUST be a registered CPA, CA, or any other equal name. Books must be signed, so you must own a license, doesn't matter in which country.
2. MUST have experience with Web3 companies. You know how to read the blockchain, how to identify a staking operation, or funds that gets bridged, or a sales of tokens via an ICO.
3. Thick skin and amazing communication skills. Clients can be nice or rude, get ready for it
4. Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently and meticulously under tight deadlines
