Job Scope

1. Monitor and keep up to date with the latest happenings and developments. in the Web3 Gaming Industry as well as the overall Gaming Industry.
2. Cultivate a network of sources for information on key industry players.
3. Identify newsworthy content and pitch story ideas.
4. Write original news articles, listicles, game overviews, tutorials and/or conduct written interviews. You will need to explain complex games and projects to a wide audience and produce easy to read content (from a gamers perspective).
5. Incorporate best SEO practices including meta description and SEO keywords.
6. Ensure consistency, quality standards, authenticity, and manage deadlines.
7. Cross Team Collaboration with a team of global, multi-cultural and multi-specialists.

Requirement

• Ideal experience of 2-5 years with supporting portfolio as a writer in a gaming or web3 gaming media outlet.
• Very good knowledge of the gaming industry and web3 gaming ecosystem.
• Excellent command over the English language - both verbal and written
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, SEO Copywriting best practices for making your content appealing to gamers, game developers and search engines.
• You will be trained on how to use CMS.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Being a genuine gamer is a bonus!
• Outstanding communicator (online and offline) - must be reachable!
• Passion for engaging with people. Energy, enthusiasm, and a “can-do” attitude to work within a startup ecosystem.
• Experience in journalism and/or blogging.
• A high degree of personal loyalty & integrity. Adhere to deadlines!
