Marketing Manager -DeFi and Web3

MetalSwap, an innovative Ethereum-based DeFi protocol, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Manager to spearhead our marketing initiatives and contribute significantly to the growth and engagement of our community. About You:

You are a dynamic, hands-on marketing professional with at least 4 years of experience in marketing, specifically within the web3, finance, or tech industries. You have a deep understanding of and familiarity with the DeFi, Web3, and EVM environments.Your expertise spans across various facets of marketing, with a particular emphasis on the crypto industry, its culture, and its leading projects. You possess:

• Excellent written English skills, with proficiency close to native, and very good spoken English.
• Strong experience in social media management, especially with Twitter, and a proven track record of effectively managing and growing social media platforms.
• Solid background in building and managing online communities, focusing on Discord and Telegram channels.
• Comprehensive knowledge in content planning, SEO, and content marketing strategy to drive engagement and growth.

The Role:

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead the marketing efforts of MetalSwap and its related products and protocols. You will be hands-on, dedicating most of your time to executing marketing strategies with the support of three additional team members. Your responsibilities include:

• Growth and management of social and community channels: You'll be the driving force behind our social media and community engagement strategies, responsible for the growth, improvement, and management of these channels.
• Coordinating marketing efforts: Working closely with the team, you'll coordinate efforts to contribute to the protocol's growth, increase DAPP usage, and enhance community engagement.
• Content marketing: Plan, execute, and manage content marketing strategies to boost visibility and engagement.
• Rebranding Process Management: Oversee the rebranding of all branding materials, including logos, color palettes, and style guides. Collaborate with external designers to create logos and SVG graphic asset sets. Prepare comprehensive brand guidelines and manage the public brand folder.
• Community Engagement and Adaptation: Adapt Discord, Telegram, and forum communities to align with the brand and vision. Organize and conduct AMAs to engage with the community effectively.
• Campaign and Promotional Strategy: Plan and execute campaigns on platforms like Galxe, potentially including reward-based initiatives such as airdrops from testnet phases.
• Social Media Strategy: Manage the adaptation of existing social media channels, create new pages as necessary, and define the relationships between these pages. Develop and implement a cohesive editorial plan to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
