The Opportunity
PlayToEarn (playtoearn.com) is the leading crypto-gaming media and discovery platform, reaching hundreds of thousands of monthly organic visitors. We are the niche leader with little to no real competition, which means we are the direct source of the audience that crypto gaming studios, Web3 projects, and crypto brands need to reach. For serious clients looking for that audience, buying from us is the obvious choice. We are looking for a Sales Representative who can go out, find them, and close them.
This is a B2B sales role. Your clients are businesses, not consumers. We also run B2C products, but those are not the focus here. You will be selling to companies that want access to our audience, and your day will be spent talking to founders, marketing leads, BD heads, and growth managers at those companies.
That audience is a strong commercial fit for more than just crypto-native clients. Web2 gaming companies are an important and often overlooked target. Our users are financially active gamers who are happy to spend money on games, and Web2 game studios looking to acquire spending players have strong reasons to advertise with us. Part of this role is opening up that market, not just selling to the crypto-only client base.
This is a pure commission role. There is no base salary. Instead, you get a platform with proven traction, a clearly priced product menu, recognized brand reputation in the space, active lead collections to work from, and uncapped earning potential on every deal you close.
You will sell advertising placements, game listings, and premium feature upgrades, and you will assist clients with their purchases from first message to payment. The focus of this role is outbound: identifying prospects, opening conversations on chat and on calls, and closing deals. You will have access to our active lead collections (email lists, prior client databases, and prospect lists we have built over the years) to fuel your outreach. Our CEO may occasionally forward inbound inquiries your way. But the bulk of the work, and the bulk of the income, comes from the deals you go out and create yourself.
You are also not boxed into selling only what is on the menu today. Bring your experience to the table and help us reshape the sales strategy, pricing, and product mix. If you spot a new product we should be offering, a smarter way to package what we already have, or a pricing change that would unlock more revenue, we want to hear it and act on it. The better the offering, the bigger your commission checks.
For an experienced rep, this is a comparatively easy sell. The product is real, the audience is real, the alternatives for the client are few.
What You Will Do
You will own the outbound B2B commercial pipeline at PlayToEarn. Your job is to find clients, open conversations, close deals, and make sure each client has a smooth experience from first contact through payment. You will also help shape what we sell and how we sell it.
Outbound B2B Sales (Primary Focus)
- Identify and prospect into two main client groups: (1) crypto gaming studios, Web3 projects, exchanges, wallets, and crypto brands, and (2) Web2 game studios and publishers who want to reach our financially active gaming audience.
- Run outreach across email, Telegram, Discord, X, and LinkedIn.
- Jump on calls. Cold calls, discovery calls, demo calls, and closing calls are all part of the job. Many B2B deals require a real conversation, not just messages.
- Pitch the right product (banner placements, game listings, premium features, sponsored content, tournament sponsorships, newsletter spots, and more) for each prospect's goals.
- Anticipate and handle objections before they stall the deal: price, timing, audience fit, attribution, internal approvals, crypto skepticism, and whatever else comes up.
- Close deals and grow recurring revenue with renewals and upsells.
Working Our Lead Collections
- Use our active lead collections to run targeted outreach campaigns: email lists, prior client databases, and prospect lists built up over years of operating in this space.
- Reactivate dormant relationships with past clients and prior leads who already know who we are.
- Handle inbound inquiries our CEO occasionally forwards to you. These are a bonus, not the foundation of your pipeline.
Shape Sales Strategy & Products
- Bring ideas to the table on how to sell more, sell better, and sell things we are not selling yet.
- Help refine pricing on existing products based on what you hear in the market.
- Propose new product options, packages, or bundles you believe clients would buy.
- Influence how the commercial side of PlayToEarn scales. You are not just executing a script, you are helping write it.
Client Assistance
- Help clients pick the right package for their goals and budget.
- Answer questions about reach, formats, placement, timing, and pricing.
- Guide them through checkout and resolve anything that gets in the way of a smooth purchase.
- Coordinate with the internal team so delivery after the sale is seamless.
Pipeline & Relationships
- Manage your own outbound pipeline, follow-ups, and forecasts.
- Build long-term relationships so clients return campaign after campaign.
- Share market feedback so the product offering keeps sharpening.
What You Bring
Must Have
- B2B outbound sales experience. You have prospected and closed deals with businesses before, ideally in digital advertising, media, SaaS, gaming, or crypto. You know how to move a conversation from a first message to a signed order with a corporate buyer.
- Objection handling, in practice not in theory. This is what separates a real closer from someone who can only sell warm leads. You know the common objections in B2B ad sales (price, ROI doubt, timing, audience fit, attribution, internal approvals, crypto skepticism, fear of testing something new) and you pre-empt them in your pitch before the prospect even raises them. When a new objection lands in the middle of a call or chat, you handle it on the spot, not by promising to circle back next week. You should be able to walk us through specific objections you have closed past and how you did it.
- Strong communication in English, written and spoken. Most prospecting happens in writing across email, Telegram, Discord, X, and LinkedIn, but you will also be on calls. You need to be clear, friendly, and persuasive on the keyboard and on the phone.
- Willingness to cold call. Picking up the phone is part of the job. The reps who close the biggest deals in this space are not the ones hiding behind a keyboard.
- Self-discipline and ownership of your time. This is a fully remote role with no fixed working hours. Your income is directly tied to your effort. The people who succeed here treat this like their own business, not a job to clock in and out of.
- Strategic thinking. You should have opinions on what sells, what does not, and how to fix it. Reps who only follow a script will not get the most out of this role.
- Understanding of crypto and crypto gaming, plus working knowledge of the broader gaming industry. You do not need to be a deep expert in either, but you need to speak the language of Web3 clients and of Web2 game studios. Both worlds are in scope here.
- Comfort with rejection and persistence. Outbound is a numbers game. Most messages and calls get nowhere. The ones that land pay well. You need the temperament to keep writing, keep dialing, keep following up, keep closing.
- Proficiency with AI tools. We operate with AI-assisted workflows across all departments. You are expected to use AI to multiply your output across prospect research, outreach personalization, drafting, and follow-up.
Nice to Have
- Existing network in crypto gaming, Web3 projects, blockchain studios, NFT brands, exchanges, or related industries.
- Existing network in Web2 gaming: studios, publishers, user acquisition teams, or game marketing agencies.
- Background in media sales, ad sales, or partnership sales.
- Experience selling internationally across time zones.
- Experience helping shape pricing, packaging, or go-to-market strategy at a previous company.
- Active participation in crypto, gaming, or NFT communities.
Compensation
This role is 100% commission. No base salary. We are upfront about that, because the people who thrive in this role would not want it any other way.

- Competitive commission rate on every closed deal. Structured so a productive rep earns well above what a traditional base plus bonus would pay. Exact percentage discussed during interview.
- Uncapped earnings. No ceiling. The more you close, the more you make.
- Access to our active lead collections from day one: email lists, prior client databases, and prospect lists built up over years. You are not starting from a blank spreadsheet.
- A warm pipeline on top of that: past clients and prior leads to reactivate, plus occasional inbound forwards from our CEO. Useful on top of outbound, not a substitute for it.
- Two markets to sell into, not one. Crypto-native clients plus Web2 gaming clients who want access to our audience. More addressable market means more commission opportunities.
- Recurring revenue. Many ad and listing products renew. Strong client relationships compound month after month.
- Direct influence on the offering. Your input on pricing, packaging, and new products is welcomed and acted on. You can shape what you sell, which means you can shape what you earn.

Earning Potential
Our annual commercial revenue has run into the seven figures, with the majority coming from the kind of advertising and listing products you would be selling. We have operated at that scale, and it shows the size of the market a focused sales operator can capture.
For the rep, the math is concrete. Deal sizes range from smaller transactional buys that pay solid commissions and stack quickly, up to six-figure annual advertising contracts that are realistic with the right client and can pay out tens of thousands in commission on a single deal. The mix you build is up to you, and the deals you go after are shaped by your own strategy. Five figures in monthly commission is a realistic target for a rep who performs well in this role, and the ceiling beyond that is determined by the deals you choose to chase and close.
A few things make this work in your favor. We are the niche leader with little to no real competition. Clients who want to reach the crypto gaming audience do not have many alternatives, and most of the serious ones already know our name. We are also the direct source of that audience. Buying from us is not a luxury for our target clients, it is the most direct path to the people they need to reach. And the addressable market is bigger than most reps in this space realize: beyond the obvious crypto clients, Web2 gaming companies are a large and largely untapped buyer pool for our audience. For an experienced outbound rep, that combination makes this a comparatively easy product to sell.
