Microsoft’s India Development Center (IDC) is a key driver of innovation for Azure Data, SQL, and AI-powered services. As a Software Engineer II, you will build and operate large-scale, distributed systems that enable intelligent data-driven applications and next-generation technologies. In this role engineers take end-to-end ownership of features and subsystems, contribute to system design, and influence technical decisions within their team scope. You will work on Azure Data platforms (SQL) and increasingly on AI-native systems, including agentic AI architectures, helping Microsoft’s Data + AI ecosystem. Responsibilities include designing, building, and releasing scalable and reliable products and cloud services around the database platform that has the largest footprint in the world across cloud and on-premises.
