Who You Are:

We're looking for a Client Onboarding Analyst to play an active role in the client onboarding process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, disciplined problem solver, and can adapt quickly. This candidate should also have prior work experience in financial services, an understanding of Customer Due Diligence/ AML/KYC requirements and a deep interest in working in and learning about the crypto ecosystem.

This person will sit in our NYC office. 

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with Compliance, Credit, Legal and Tax to onboard new clients, while ensuring excellent customer service and a smooth process
• Maintain and update Onboarding Desktop Procedures to keep pace with a fast-growing business
• Assist in tracking metrics and provide reports to key stakeholders on onboarding pipeline and statistics
• Manage priority items received from multiple teams across different locations
• Resolve escalated issues from various clients
• Connect with teams locally and across regions to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Participate in the design and testing of enhancements to the Client Onboarding portal
• Work alongside internal teams to assist with Swap Dealer onboarding requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• Onboarding/AML/KYC experience from an institutional perspective
• Familiar with CFTC Swap Dealer Onboarding requirements/or willingness to learn
• 3+ years of client onboarding experience

Bonus Points:

• Experience within a financial institution in a client onboarding capacity (Operations, Client Service, or Implementation)
• Interest and familiarity with crypto

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range$100,000—$120,000 USD
