You'll be working on

A proprietary Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading platform that will enable Gravity Team to execute large, off-exchange trades directly with institutional counterparties. You’ll help build it from the ground up with a team of experienced engineers, drawing on our deep expertise in high-performance trading infrastructure. The OTC Desk will serve as our gateway into client-facing execution - integrating trading logic, capital routing, and exchange connectivity into a unified system. Your work will focus on backend development in Rust, building core services, APIs, and automated workflows, while collaborating closely with traders, ops, and product teams to align technical design with business needs.

What you will do

• Design and implement the backend of a proprietary OTC trading system in Rust.
• Design and build web APIs to support system operations and internal interfaces.
• Maintain and expand integrations with exchanges through custom APIs.
• Develop monitoring, testing, and deployment automations to keep the platform resilient and scalable.
• Optimize for performance and system uptime - small mistakes here = big financial impact.
• Work independently and iterate fast in a low-bureaucracy, high-ownership environment.
• Contribute to adjacent areas: capital allocation logic, payment processes, data pipelines.

What we expect

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing IT projects.
• Track record of successfully building & maintaining complex backend systems (deep tech products, backend systems with deep business logic, algorithms, financial applications, etc.)
• Strong production-level experience with Rust or other compiled languages (C++, Go, etc.)
• Solid technical knowledge in programming concepts and languages.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and knowledge of validating cause-and-effect relationships.
• Hands-on skills of multiple backend programming languages & frameworks.
• High-sense of responsibility and get-stuff-done attitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge & working experience with Algorithms is a plus
• Experience in working with hedge funds, fintechs or similar organizations is a plus.
• Experience in the crypto & blockchain industry is a plus.
• Experience in financial engineering is a plus.
• Results in Math, Physics, Informatics, Chemistry, or Economics Olympiads are a plus.
