Maya Protocol is a decentralised and permissionless cross-chain liquidity protocol and friendly fork of THORChain. Maya Protocol is built on Cosmos SDK and connects blockchains.

Maya Protocol was launched in March 2023 with a fair launch - The Liquidity Auction. Right now, Maya Protocol enables swapping between native Bitcoin, Ethereum, THORChain, Dash, Kujira, and Arbitrum and is looking to connect to many more chains!

Maya Protocol is looking for a new developer to join the core development team. Maya Protocol is a decentralised and permissionless cross-chain liquidity protocol and friendly fork of THORChain, allowing users to swap between native assets.

  • Build and test interfaces to allow MAYANode to connect with all types of blockchains (UTXO's, EVM's, Cosmos)
  • Build infrastructure to allow MAYANode operators to manage their nodes

Mandatory:

  • Familiar and preferably experienced with the Cosmos SDK framework
  • Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining production software
  • Significant experience writing Golang or the ability and desire to become proficient in new languages
  • A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • The ability to take ownership and see initiatives through
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience working with distributed teams

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of fault tolerant consensus protocols like PBFT or Tendermint
  • Knowledge or experience in cryptography and multi-party computation routines
