In charge of making payments owed by the Company to suppliers and other creditors, paying vendor invoices or bills, and recording the Company’s short-term debts.It’s the responsibility of the accounts payable clerk to review, reconcile, and pay the Company’s bills in a timely fashion. This requires not only accounting acumen, but also working knowledge of theCompany’s operations to be a steadfast guardian of its cash flowWhat We Offer: SALARY: $75,000-$95,000BENEFITS: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid 100% by EmployerUNLIMITED VACATION DAYS

The Responsibilities

• Prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies  
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable dat
• Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed and reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify and investigate discrepancies 
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients 
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status 
• Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes 
• Perform data entry associated with accounts payable 
• Audit, process, reconcile credit card bills and bank statements 
• Responds to vendor inquiries and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments  
• Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping 
• May process requests for employee expense reimbursements 
• Manage all aspects of invoicing including assemble and review for completed payment, obtain information on invoice payments, review vendor files for previous invoice payments, verify invoices against purchase ordersand maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger.

Our Requirements

• 3+ years Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Manager 
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles 
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records 
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers 
• Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills 
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software 
• Proficiency in Excel 
• Organized with attention to detail and strong time management 
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
