About the Role

The Role
- Work as part of a collaborative team making a social impact
- Contribute to the technical and functional development of AID:Tech platform
- Create innovative and immersive user experience interfaces
- Use agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, DevOps)
- Work hand in hand with our functional and technical experts
Skills Required
- Languages: Outstanding experience in Go (Golang)
- Experience building and deploying scalable production quality micro-services
- Knowledge of various AWS Services (SNS, SQS, EC2, Lambda, Elemental etc.) and other cloud service providers
- Relational and graph databases
- Version control (git/mercurial) using git-flow type workflows
- Knowledge of basic programming flow control and data structures
- Can work in a team and communicate on a day-to-day basis over Slack/Skype, etc.
Desired Attributes/Skills
- Blockchain knowledge (L1/L2)
- Cryptography/Math background (Asymmetric crypto, hashing, elliptical curve)
- Hold or are currently attending a Master Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field such as information technology or engineering
- Programming is your passion, but above all you want to satisfy your clients and end users
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Be keen to learn new technologies as well as understanding the business transformation
- Have a collaborative mindset, you enjoy sharing knowledge and succeed as a team
- Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships
