Blockchain Simulations Engineer

About the position

Regardless of your role, you'll have massive ownership and freedom and have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies across the stack (and across blockchains). This role is fully remote.

Technologies we currently use

• 🦀 Rust & 🐍 Python
• AWS as our main cloud provider
• Postgres / Redis / Kafka / S3 / Prometheus

What you’ll do at Blowfish

• Maintain & ship features to our custom Solana node
• Improve our proprietary Solana multi-transaction simulator
• Stay abreast of the latest features adopted by the Solana ecosystem and ensure our products evolve to support them
• Write and deploy Solana smart contracts when necessary
• Build an engineering culture that attracts the most talented people to join us

Qualifications

• 4+ years full-time software engineering experience
• 1+ years full-time experience working with Rust
• 1+ years full-time working with Solana technologies
• Experience building and maintaining a production system at scale.
