About the Position:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Copywriter to join our creative and marketing teams. As a Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and engaging copy for various marketing campaigns and creative projects. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and design to deliver high-quality written content that effectively communicates our agency's and our clients' messages. - Copywriting for Marketing Campaigns:
- Develop persuasive and captivating copy for integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and email.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and target audience, ensuring the copy aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals.
- Write clear and concise copy that grabs attention, communicates key messages, and motivates the audience to take action.
- Creative Content Development:
- Work closely with the creative team to create compelling and innovative content that supports the visual elements of various projects, including presentation decks, websites, advertisements, videos, and social media.
- Generate impactful headlines, taglines, and storytelling narratives that convey the desired brand voice and resonate with the target audience.
- Ensure consistency of messaging and brand tone across different platforms and touchpoints.
- Brand Messaging and Positioning:
- Collaborate with the brand team to develop and refine brand messaging and positioning strategies.
- Write brand guidelines, tone of voice guidelines, and other reference materials to ensure consistent and effective communication across all channels.
- Craft engaging copy that accurately reflects our agency's and our clients' unique value propositions and differentiates them in the market.
- Content Editing and Proofreading:
- Edit and proofread marketing materials and creative content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance content based on feedback, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and messaging.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and brand teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and campaign goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative input and ideas to enhance marketing and creative projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow, project coordination, and timely delivery of high-quality copy.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter in an agency or creative environment.
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and impactful copywriting across various channels.
- Proficient understanding of branding, marketing strategies, and target audience analysis.
- Solid knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and writing styles.
- Ability to adapt writing tone and style to match different brands and target audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent editing and proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research is a plus.
- Proficiency in content management systems and collaboration tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Deep understanding of web3 technologies is a bonus
- 5+ years of experience in a copywriting role, preferably in an agency environment.
