Derivatives Trader

Who You Are:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated derivatives trader to join our trading team in (The Bahamas/London). The ideal candidate will have demonstrable derivatives trading experience, strong quantitative skills, and a deep interest in crypto markets. This role involves managing and executing complex trading strategies, working cross-functionally to build our franchise, and contributing to the overall profitability of the trading desk.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the risk of the derivatives portfolio as part of a global trading team with a presence in Hong Kong, London, New York, and The Bahamas
• Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements
• Execute trades and manage counterparty flows
• Conduct market analysis to identify trading opportunities; stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments affecting crypto markets
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored derivatives solutions

What We’re Looking For:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field
• At least five years of trading experience at a financial institution
• Vision for building a market-leading franchise business
• Prior experience in crypto, FX, or equity derivatives (exotics and structured products knowledge is a plus)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical and financial modeling
• Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management systems, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
