Role Overview
The DevOps Engineer will build and maintain the infrastructure powering Foundations Unitedâs decentralized systems. Youâll design cloud environments, automate smart contract deployment workflows, and manage blockchain nodes at scale. This role is perfect for an infrastructure expert ready to solve complex challenges in crypto scalability, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cloud infrastructure for dApps, APIs, and blockchain nodes
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and secure deployments
- Maintain observability stacks (logs, metrics, alerts) across environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or equivalent tools
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot performance and availability issues
- Implement security best practices and backup strategies
- Support on-chain release workflows and contract deployment automation
Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles
- Experience running Ethereum nodes and blockchain indexers
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Solid understanding of security, networking, and systems troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RPC infrastructure, relayers, or validator operations
- Exposure to smart contract CI tooling (Hardhat, Foundry pipelines)
- Contributions to open-source Web3 infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with load testing, chaos engineering, or ZK infrastructure
