Our client, a leading group in the iGaming industry with millions of users worldwide, are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Director of Acquisition to lead user acquisition efforts targeting crypto-savvy audiences and drive them to their global gambling platforms. This is a high-impact leadership role where youâll oversee the full spectrum of acquisition channelsâranging from performance marketing and affiliation to community-driven growthâwhile building and guiding a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisition Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-channel acquisition strategy tailored to the crypto casino space. Own the full acquisition funnel, from planning to execution and optimization.
Team Management & Growth
- Build and lead a results-driven acquisition team across paid media, affiliates, SEO, and community management. Set clear KPIs, mentor talent, and foster a performance-oriented culture.
Channel Ownership
- Oversee and scale performance marketing campaigns (PPC, native, display, retargeting), affiliate partnerships, influencer marketing, SEO initiatives, and community/chatroom outreach (Telegram, Discord, Twitter/X, Reddit, etc.).
Affiliate Program Expansion
- Develop and manage a robust affiliate program. Build strong relationships, negotiate deals, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality traffic from affiliate partners.
Analytics & Optimization
- Define key metrics, monitor campaign performance, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize acquisition costs, player value, and ROI across all channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, content, and creative teams to align acquisition efforts with user experience and retention goals. Collaborate with compliance and legal where necessary, especially within regulated markets.
What Weâre Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in acquisition marketing, with at least 2 in a leadership or director-level roleâideally within the crypto, iGaming, or fintech industries.
- Deep understanding of both traditional and non-traditional acquisition channels: paid media, affiliate marketing, SEO, chatroom/community growth, and influencer partnerships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience scaling and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Looker, or similar.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
