Since then, we’ve created new IP for the ape ecosystem (Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club), acquired top collections (CryptoPunks and Meebits), and made both web3 and gaming history with the biggest NFT mint ever followed by a game demo with record-breaking synchronized player participation (Otherside). We also found some time to see old friends and make new ones with headline-making events (ApeFest, VMAs) and partnerships (Rolling Stone, Adidas).

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Head of Business Operations & Strategy, reporting to the SVP of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for working with leaders across multiple business units on some of their thorniest business challenges, leading cross-functional teams to find solutions. You fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and zoom out to develop synthesized recommendations to support the continued growth and success of our high-growth Web3 media company. Taking operational leadership a step further, you roll up your sleeves to drive implementation, track impact, and navigate changing conditions.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to assess business performance and make informed decisions. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to track progress towards goals and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the industry. Leverage market insights to inform strategic planning and positioning in the competitive landscape.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives and organizational transformation efforts, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the company.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships to expand the company's market presence and capabilities. Participate in due diligence, negotiation, and integration processes as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with various teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and human resources. Ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Reporting and Communication: Present business updates, strategic plans, and performance metrics to the executive team and board of directors. Deliver clear and concise communication to stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.
- Prior experience working with a top-tier consulting firm is strongly preferred.
- In-house experience within a high-growth tech company or a fast-paced, innovative environment is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading strategic planning initiatives and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-influencing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $225,000 to $285,000 in addition to equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range listed encompasses several levels. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and market demand. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
