Crypto Market Maker - Senior Manager Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Crypto Market Maker to join our team as a Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, traditional finance, and advanced trading strategies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to optimize our market-making operations across both centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) exchanges.

Key Responsibilities Market Making and Liquidity Management

• Manage cross-chain DEX liquidity
• Experienced in bridging assets
• Worked with DEX liquidity provision
• Experienced on CMC and CoinGecko listing and data management
• Manage order books for various trading pairs across crypto exchanges to maintain optimal liquidity levels
• Develop, implement, and refine market-making algorithms to enhance liquidity on our crypto platform
• Analyze trading data and market trends to optimize liquidity provision strategies
• Work closely with CEO, CTO and liquidity providers to ensure a competitive trading environment
• Monitor trading activity and promptly respond to changes in market conditions
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance liquidity across different trading pairs

Strategy Development and Implementation

• Formulate profitable strategies that drive volume for options and futures in the exchange
• Develop strategies to scale our market making in options across tenors and strikes
• Create and implement machine learning models to improve the efficiency of our algorithms
• Design and implement tools for data analysis of market patterns
• Continuously evaluate and refine liquidity management processes for efficiency and effectiveness
• Monitor algorithmic trading systems while managing risk in strategy design and implementation

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with trading venues (CEXs) on joint activities, trading experience enhancements, and new listings coordination
• Provide regular reports and analysis to management on liquidity metrics and performance
• Collaborate effectively with various teams including trading, technology, and compliance

Industry Knowledge

• Maintain a perfect understanding of decentralized AMM (Automated Market Maker) markets
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in liquidity management
• Demonstrate proficiency in inventory management for both CEX and DEX markets
• Understand blockchain assets safety/security fundamentals

Qualifications Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in liquidity management or market-making within cryptocurrency or financial industries
• Proven track record of optimizing liquidity and managing trading risks successfully

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading mechanics, and order book dynamics
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
• Experience with developing and implementing trading algorithms
• Familiarity with crypto and stock market trading platforms and order execution systems
• Programming skills in languages commonly used in financial modeling and algorithmic trading (e.g., Python, R, C++)

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM)
• Experience with options and futures trading in crypto markets
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in finance
• Preferably RUSSIAN SPEAKER
