Our unique platform-as-as-service enables game developers to easily create and operate marketplaces where players can then buy, sell and trade ā€œin-game assetsā€ (e.g., skins, weapons and tools) with each other. By leveraging the Ethereum Blockchain, for the first time ever, players have true ownership and control over their in-game assets.

We are backed by top-tier investors including Naspers Ventures, Galaxy Digital, Apex Capital and Coinbase. With US$15m raised in venture funding, and over US$6m in revenue from our genesis sale we are very well positioned to leverage our first-mover advantage globally and make ownership of in-game assets go mainstream.

Our first title, Gods Unchained, is already the number one blockchain game in terms of players, revenue and secondary asset trading. In fact, Gods Unchained has issued more in-game assets than all other blockchain games, put together.. More games are set to join the platform in 2020.

As a People Partner, your core mission is to champion and empower our greatest asset - our people. With a unique blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and collaborative partnership, you will be pivotal in achieving GTMĀ  performance goals and fostering a thriving, innovative, and inclusive workplace culture. Your purpose is to facilitate the growth and success of your client groups by ensuring that our talented leaders and team members are engaged, motivated, and equipped to push the boundaries of the Web3 gaming industry.

You will have the opportunity to:

    • Collaborate closely with your functional executives and their leadership teams to understand the company's overall strategic direction and business objectives
    • Translate business goals into People strategies, initiatives, and programs that support organisational growth and performance outcomes, and drive employee engagement and productivity
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to achieve optimal hiring outcomes
    • Lead the execution of performance and compensation cycles and functional employee engagement and well-being through various initiatives, recognition programs, and continuous feedback mechanisms
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on all People related matters
    • Act as a strategic partner to the People Programs team, ensuring alignment and tight feedback loops between overall functional business HR strategy and specific program objectives
    • Develop and drive the strong capability of leaders (from first-time managers to senior/functional leadership)

We would love you to have:

    • Proven experience as an HRBP or in a commercial support function with a strong people focus (GTM operations will be considered), with a track record of success in strategic HR planning and operational excellence
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
    • Data-driven and analytical mindset, leveraging metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
    • Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving start/scale-up environment
    • Passionate about a high-performing, inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed
    • Strong knowledge of AU employment landscape and ER/IR, global knowledge in Asia also highly regarded

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

    • Knowledge of ER/IR across Asia
    • Experience working for a web3 or gaming scale-up
