Prediction Market Creation and Promotion

Job Description

As part of the Seer One team, you will look at opportunities of creating interesting markets, talk with potential partners who would be interested by the information provided and promote those markets.This position is at the intersection 

You can work remotely. Even though there are not set hours (apart from a few weekly team calls), you will be expected to deliver high quality work within the defined deadlines. Seer is an early stage project so you have a high potential of shaping its future.

You will have plenty of freedom and responsibilities and are expected to be a pro-active member of our team. You’ll have the chance to be one of the pioneers of the next generation of crypto prediction markets!

Responsibilities

- Find interesting markets to create (general public interest in the question, demand from traders or from entities seeking some particular estimates).

- Propose market questions in order to as clear as possible and minimize room for ambiguity.

- Find and talk with entities seeking information that prediction market can provide and work with them to create those.- Promote those markets among trader and communities having a particular insights on the questions of those markets.

Requirements

- The most important is a passion for prediction markets.

- Ability to work remotely.

- High Command of English Language.

- Strong teamwork and collaborative spirit.

- A previous prediction market experience is a plus but not necessarily required. An experience in related fields such trading or betting is also a plus.

- A previous blockchain experience is a plus but not necessarily required but candidates should be able to demonstrate a blockchain interest (read blog posts / scientific articles, tried dapps on mainnets or testnets).

Perks

- Note that the compensation range is quite large, compensation depends of degree/experience and previous experience with prediction markets.

- Most of the compensation (2/3) is labelled in fiat and paid in crypto.

- The remaining (1/3) is labelled in Seer One tokens vested over 3 years with a 1 year cliff ensuring you get a stake in the project.

Location

There is a one month onboarding (next location Chiang Mai). After that you can work remotely.
