Product Manager - Aptos Ascend

About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our Aptos Ascend products. This role will work closely with our partners in financial services across payments, capital markets, banking, and other areas in decentralized and traditional finance products. You will be responsible for crafting the product strategy, advocating for the required resources, and driving execution towards solutions for key partners.  

This role is a mix of strategy, market research, entrepreneurship and working with the various Aptos teams to drive results. This is an opportunity for someone who is excited by building products that will create innovative solutions for a complex and highly impactful industry. You will be working on fast-paced, rapidly growing, high-profile projects with a significant opportunity for industry-level impact on emerging blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Create a comprehensive financial services strategy for Aptos Ascend that considers ecosystem development, marketing, partnership opportunities, and internal and external product and engineering solutions 
• Conduct market research and data analysis to drive Aptos’ Ascend strategy, considering short and long-term objectives 
• Collaborate with partnerships, marketing, engineering, and product development to prioritize and drive execution of initiatives that users and partners value 
• Identify product solutions that support Ascend initiatives on Aptos, and drive execution of these products with internal and external product & engineering teams 
• Collaborate with partners to ensure strategic alignment and success in building with Aptos 
• Help identify, plan for and execute new opportunities in financial services in Aptos 
• Drive leadership and stakeholder alignment with Ascend initiatives, and regularly share updates on milestones, priorities, and outcomes 

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of product management in in financial services, payments, capital markets, investing or other related industries 
• Experience leading product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
• Experience taking initiatives and products from conception through launch, managing and end-to-end delivery
• Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives across internal and external teams 
• Deep understanding of financial services customers, their priorities, current efforts, and requirements for blockchain solutions  
• Strong ability to interpret research and data to dissect industry trends and create actionable insights
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record for working well across internal and external teams to influence priorities and drive project execution 
• Experience working with global partners a plus 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $173,800-$222,574. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the New York area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training.
