Our mission is simple: make crypto tax simple. We're building tools to enable the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency by automating the regulatory hurdles of tax compliance and asset tracking.

The role

We’re looking for a Research Product Manager (part researcher, part engineer, part product thinker) to tackle the toughest crypto data and UX problems we face.

This isn’t a PM role where you just “manage the backlog.” You’ll:

• Investigate edge-case user problems and data anomalies.
• Shape and ship solutions from discovery → delivery → iteration.
• Go deep into crypto transaction flows, protocols, and integrations.
• Work side-by-side with engineers, QA, and design — and directly with our Founder — to deliver features that work in the messy real world of crypto,

It’s a hands-on, high-impact IC role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical curiosity, product strategy, and research rigor.

What you’ll do

• Research + discovery: Mine user feedback, product analytics, and on-chain data to uncover pain points and opportunities.
• Technical deep-dives: Investigate bugs, debug edge cases, review data transformations, and ensure integration accuracy.
• Product shaping: Define scope, write clear specs, create quick wireframes, test edge cases, and guide features to launch.
• Data quality: Analyse transaction data for errors, work with engineers to improve ingestion and transformation.
• Autonomous delivery: Manage your own backlog, align with the Founder on priorities, and keep the team focused on the highest-impact work.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Ensure smooth handoffs between engineering, design, QA, marketing, and support through clear async updates.

What you bring

• Advanced crypto expertise: You understand LPs, DAOs, DeFi mechanics, transaction flows, and blockchain ecosystems.
• 5+ years product experience: Shipping complex features in fast-moving environments.
• Technical fluency: Comfortable navigating codebases, debugging data issues, and discussing technical trade-offs.
• Analytical mind: You combine qualitative research and quantitative data to make decisions.
• Meticulous QA instinct: You spot issues others miss.
• Autonomy: You self-manage, prioritize, and thrive without handholding.
• From 0→1: You’ve built features or products from scratch and made the right trade-offs under constraints.

In your first 30 days you’ll…

• Learn the product inside-out (our users can do their taxes in <20 mins, so will you).
• Partner with the Founder to refine the roadmap.
• Build shared product context so teams can make faster, better decisions independently.
