Senior HR Generalist

Offchain Labs has developed a suite of scaling solutions for Ethereum. This includes Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup, that instantly scales apps, reducing costs and increasing capacity, without sacrificing Ethereum's security. Porting contracts to Arbitrum requires no code changes or downloads since it’s compatible with existing Ethereum developer languages and tooling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a key role in shaping our company's culture and ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will also be a resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR-related matters.What You'll Do:- Employee Relations:Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing questions, concerns, and HR escalations.Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by fostering teamwork and employee engagement.- Performance Management:Support our Performance Review processes, ensuring they are conducted on-time and consistently by managers.Provide guidance and support to managers in setting performance goals and addressing performance issues.Assist in developing and implementing employee development and improvement plans.- HR Compliance:Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and employee handbook.Keep abreast of HR best practices and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements.- HR Projects and Initiatives:Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, and policy changes.Manage employee lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding) for all employees in your assigned department(s) and recommend, as well as implement, efficiencies to existing processes where possible. 

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant HR experience, with a focus on generalist roles.
• SHRM, CHRP or HRCI certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and G Suite/Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
