The candidate should have a mix of product, tech and regulatory expertise that will enable him/her to effectively manage projects related to MICA regulation analysis, impact assessment and changes implementation. The project manager will report to the EU Operation Lead.
Key Qualifications:
- Product Knowledge: Good knowledge how product works, it will be useful to understand the underlying operations of Binance products, business units and systems. Preferably to have worked in the crypto industry or Fintech industry.
- Tech Expertise: Sound knowledge in technology is a plus, especially those related to blockchain, cryptocurrency, and similar areas.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing and executing large scale projects. This involves resourcing, budgeting, timeline creation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Good experience and knowledge of financial regulations, particularly MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive). Existing knowledge of MICA is a plus.
- Strategy Expertise: Ability to understand and translate regulatory requirements into product strategy and execution.
- Â Analytical: Possesses strong analytical skills. Experience with impact assessment, requirement analysis, strategy development, and making data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to articulate complex regulatory concepts and challenges to a range of stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Good at problem-solving, decision making, and conflict resolution. Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience.
