The Role:

We are looking for a self-driven Rust engineer to join our core engineering team and build out significant components of our smart contract and backend including buy-side and sell-side management, pricing, settlement, and clearing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Feature development: Develop, test, and ship new backend features that support our protocol.

- Infrastructure: Define how we run, test, and deploy backend services to our users and customers.

- Community interaction: Interact with and support our growing community of retail investors and market-makers.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience launching large, complex, multifunctional projects

- Typically 2+ years of work on Solana contracts and/or 3-5+ years of backend engineering experience

- Familiarity developing and shipping production-grade Solana Contracts

- Experience with Anchor framework (open to exploring new frameworks for improved security or development speed)

Important Traits:

- Solana familiarity: Developed for or launched a meaningful project on Solana

- Crypto-native: Active in the crypto community, DeFi experience is a plus

- Strong ownership: Takes pride in shipped products, assumes responsibility for goals and timelines, and communicates issues/blockers clearly

- Curiosity: Eagerness to dig deeper and learn more when encountering problems

Additional Desired Skills:

- Experience in Web2 music industry technologies

- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies

- Proficiency in Rust programming language

- Knowledge of smart contract development and blockchain protocols

- Familiarity with Web3 technologies and decentralized applications (dApps)

- Experience with backend development and distributed systems

- Understanding of financial systems and market dynamics
