The Role:Ā Sapien is actively recruiting for a web3 developer to accelerate our product development. This position is a great fit for a candidate who wants to work remotely with amazing coworkers in an environment where they are given the time and resources required to get great work done.
We are looking for a full-stack developer familiar with smart contract development in the EVM environment and interacting with React frontends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building, testing and deploying smart contracts to testnets and mainnets, using technologies like Solidity
- Integrating with web2 backend in Node (Typescript)
- Working on web3 integrations with partner organizations and the business development team
- Tuning React frontends to work well with smart contract user experience
- Keeping the codebase clean and well-reviewed
An ideal candidate will:
- Work largely independently, but never hesitate to ask for assistance when blocked
- Self-manage tasks without hand holding
- Have experience with relational databases like Postgres
- Maintain a neat and tested code environment
- Be detail-oriented when it comes to developing excellent looking UI / UX.
- Be able to make excellent independent decisions around design and development when designs are not complete or need developer insight
- Know when to ask for help from designers or project leaders
- Have in-depth understanding of keeping client pages fast and responsive from both the frontend and backend
- Have an in-depth understanding of blockchain / web3 technology
