Server Core Team Leader
Celsius Network is looking for a backend team leader to lead our backend architecture to the next level. The optimal candidate will lead and grow our Server Foundations Team based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The Server foundations team is responsible for Celsius Network's scalable architecture, dealing with difficult engineering challenges on several tiers.
About The Role
- Design scalable architecture for the cloud-based solution.ץץ
- Feature development, automation, testing, bugs management, and planning in an Agile methodology.
- Ensure architecture supports short and long term goals of the company.
- Implement key parts of the company’s application.
- Lead the research and adoption of new technologies.
- Work with all our R&D teams, sharing knowledge and implementing best practices.
Your Experience & Skills
- Experience managing a team and leading projects hands-on from start to finish.
- Strong technical and coding skills with passion for system architecture.
- Experience with Micro Services architecture, Event Sourcing and modern frameworks is an advantage.
- Experienced with building full application release cycles on a big scale.
- Experience working in a cloud-based environment.
- Performance optimization skills - advantage.
- Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis).
- Team player, strong communication skills, and empathetic.
- Experience with AWS
- Node.JS, NestJS
- JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript
- REST API design
- SOLID Principles, MVC, Service oriented architecture
- Sequelize or similar ORM
- RabbitMQ
