The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of production-grade NFT systems.

This is a true senior role — we’re looking for someone who has shipped multiple NFT projects to mainnet, understands NFT marketplace realities, and can build secure NFT infrastructure end-to-end (contracts + metadata + off-chain support services).

What You’ll Do

• Architect and deploy secure NFT smart contracts (Solidity)
• Build advanced mint mechanics (allowlists, merkle proofs, phases, pricing logic, bot mitigation)
• Implement reveal systems, dynamic metadata, and long-term tokenURI strategies
• Integrate decentralized storage (IPFS, Arweave, Filecoin)
• Build and maintain NFT infrastructure such as:
• mint orchestration and ownership verification
• event indexing + analytics pipelines
• marketplace compatibility + collection tooling
• Write tests (Hardhat / Foundry), support audits, and enforce best-practice security
• Optimize gas usage and ensure cross-chain / L2 readiness
• Collaborate async with product and engineering teams to ship real utility

Required Experience (This Role Is Not Entry-Level)

To be successful in this role, you should have most of the following:

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years focused specifically on NFT smart contracts + NFT systems in production
• Expert Solidity experience and strong contract security instincts
• Deep knowledge of NFT standards and extensions:
• ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-2981
• ERC-6551 (Token Bound Accounts)
• Proven mainnet NFT deployments (Ethereum or major EVM chains like Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism)
• Experience building or scaling NFT marketplaces, launchpads, or creator tools
• Hands-on experience with dynamic NFTs, interoperability (gaming/utility), or token-bound accounts
• Strong experience with royalties, marketplace behaviors, metadata evolution, and advanced NFT mechanics (rentals/fractionalization, etc.)
• Experience with Layer 2 minting, bridging NFTs, or gasless transaction frameworks
• Comfortable integrating contracts into apps using ethers.js / viem / wagmi
• Strong testing discipline (Hardhat/Foundry), CI/CD, and Git workflows
• Excellent written communication in async-first environments

Bonus (If You Have It)

• Smart contract audit experience, bug bounties, or contest platforms
• Open-source contributions in NFT tooling or SDK development
