Who You Are:

We are looking for a trading product manager with 7+ years of experience in trading, structuring, and product management. Derivatives related experience a must. At Galaxy, Product is a front office role and you are responsible for delivering solutions that positively impact revenue through increased business, cost savings and better risk management.

Across 4 components that comprise a trading infrastructure, booking/recon, risk/pnl, pricing, and execution, this role will be primarily responsible for initiatives in front office risk and pricing, as well as booking. The ideal candidate will combine true product management skills and experience with domain expertise in derivatives and spot crypto trading to leverage Galaxy’s broad sales and trading franchise and leading market position.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and manage the user journey for stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with our tech and trading teams in developing tools for pricing and booking derivatives (trading experience as a ‘user’ a strong plus)
  • Analyze pricing features, shortcuts for trader usability
  • Assess accuracy of output
  • Understand trading needs for tactical updates and liaise with the tech team to anticipate solutions
• Collaborate closely with our tech and trading teams for our front office risk solutions (trading experience as a ‘user’ a strong plus)
  • Analyze risk migrations into our vendor risk system for accuracy and usability
  • Understand how our pricing systems integrate with our portfolio management systems to provide better trader solutions
  • Anticipate new risk views and metrics to improve user experience
• Collaborate closely with our tech and sales teams in developing new client facing derivatives solutions (trading or structuring experience a strong plus)
  • Analyze our internal trading/derivatives stack for tools that can be developed into client offerings.
  • Work with sales understanding client demand and how to turn this into achievable, marketable solutions
  • Work with our trading team to develop pricing, termsheets and offerings.
  • Work with our tech teams in development of low touch solutions
  • Worth with marketing on product education and engagement
• Engaging on the above with our high touch and low touch spot trading teams as needed by the business.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to stay updated with the latest trends and practices in trading and derivatives.
• Assist in managing the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
• Analyze and interpret complex data to inform product development strategies.
• Liaise with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring product efficacy and relevance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in trading, derivatives structuring, and product management ideally in traditional finance or cryptocurrency domains. 
• Technical background, especially in risk management software or tools, is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range$175,000—$250,000 USD
